During my stay, I loved that the hotel was just steps away from the charming Alan Campbell Gallery and a short walk to the inviting Spinnaker Restaurant, making it easy to enjoy local culture and delicious dining without fussing over transportation. cozy and comfortable, this place definitely catered well to my needs as a solo traveler, though the slippery bathroom floor was a bit of a concern.

We had a lovely 3-night stay in a cozy small double room. The staff were super friendly and made our mornings so much better with their great breakfast options. They even recommended some fab places to check out. One little thing tho, the stairs to our room were a bit of a hike with luggage.

Rooms directly above the bar suffer from significant noise issues, especially on weekends due to loud music and shouting. The bathroom cleanliness is a concern, with reports of dirty tubs and unchanging towels. inconsistent maintenance shows, like damaged windows, dirty grouting, and flimsy furniture in need of replacement. The expectation versus reality discrepancy based on online images is quite disappointing. the lack of basic amenities like functional room phones adds to the inconvenience, requiring trips downstairs for any assistance.

I had a wonderful two-night stay in a superbly quaint Double Room. The dining experience was truly special, with a buffet breakfast that had enough options to satisfy every craving, and dinner that didn’t break the bank! Plus, enjoying a glass of Misty Isle gin while taking in the stunning views of Bradford Bay? Absolute bliss!

Charming vibes but a little chilly

Gorgeous spot by the water, and the decor is so classic Highland. We had a decent dinner in the bar area with local ingredients, which was nice. my room ended up feeling pretty cold with a broken window that wouldn't stay shut. A warmer shower would’ve been great too.
